What exactly are skills?
A skill is a set of instructions you write once, in your own words. Once it's saved, the assistant follows it every time instead of you having to describe the job again.
This means that any task that happens every week stops needing your attention. Things like building next week's freights from a customer's spreadsheet, or adding a surcharge to one client's loads.
Write the instructions
You write it the way you'd explain the job to someone who'd never done it. The example on the right is a real one, and it doesn't have to be longer than that.

Each row is one freight. Column A is where it loads, B is where it delivers, C is the date, D is the pallet count. The customer is always Rialta Foods. Price it from our contract rate for that lane. If a row has no date, leave that freight as a draft and flag it — don't guess.
And this is what you get back
Every row comes back as a record, filled in and ready for you to confirm.
Anything it couldn't complete is flagged rather than guessed at, so the only ones that need you are the ones with something wrong. An hour of typing becomes a couple of minutes of checking.
